AI Slop Blocker is a free Chrome extension that hides recommended cards on desktop youtube.com when YouTube has already stamped the video Made with AI, How this was made, or Sounds or visuals were altered or fully generated. It does not guess. No thumbnail model.

How it works

  1. 1.Install from the Chrome Web Store.
  2. 2.Browse YouTube as normal.
  3. 3.When a recommended card carries YouTube's official AI disclosure, it is hidden.
  4. 4.Open the extension popup to see how many were hidden and review them.

Recommended cards on Home, Search, and Related on desktop www.youtube.com in Chrome that carry YouTube's official disclosure: Made with AI, How this was made, or Sounds or visuals were altered or fully generated.

Doesn't

  • Hide unlabeled AI videos.
  • Hide the Shorts shelf.
  • Work in the YouTube mobile app.

Privacy

No tracking and no data sold. If you choose to share a hidden video to the shared list, only the YouTube video ID and channel ID are sent. Read the privacy policy.
