YouTube knows the video is AI slop. Then it puts it on your Home page anyway.
We hide the ones YouTube already stamped. "How this was made." "Made with AI." That is it. No mystery AI-detecting-AI model. If it's AI slop, consider it blocked.
On when you want it. Off when you do not. Nothing leaves your browser.
Official disclosure only; Some AI Slop may still make it through our filters.
What it actually does
Pulls that card off Home, Search, and Related. No lecture. No shame banner.
Lets you tell YouTube "don't recommend this channel" for the ones that arent labled, and keep showing up.
We do not track you.
AI Slop Blocker will never track your personal data. No location, no browsing history, no email. The data we do capture; flagged YouTube channel IDs and video IDs, is only used to improve the experience for our users.
No nefarious data-selling agenda, 100% guaranteed.
No data selling. Not to brokers, ad networks, or "partners".
Opt-in for sharing your list is a video ID and a channel ID. Nothing more, nothing less.
The job is starving slop, so original, tasteful work can show up in your recommended feeds again.
This is not a user tracker. It is a label reader and a shared list of videos that YouTube has already stamped; you can opt in to share videos you've flagged with our community.
Mark it on the watch page.
You are already on the video. Hit SLOP. The video and the channel go on your Blocked list, then it sends you back to the Youtube Home page.
If you opt to share your blocked channels with us, we only use the data necessary to improve the experience for all of our users, no personal data is ever stored

AI slop videos blocked
Across every install. One video on two computers counts twice. Yours counts once.
Honest about the job
DOES BLOCK
- “How this was made” disclosure panels
- “Made with AI” badges on video cards
- “Sounds or visuals were altered or fully generated”
- Labeled Shorts surfaced in recommendation shelves
DOES NOT BLOCK
- Unlabeled AI video. No disclosure, no assumptions
- AI-written scripts read by a human
- AI thumbnails on otherwise human created videos
- Animation and cartoons that were made by hand
- YouTube auto-dubbing (article 15569972)
We are not the taste police. We are the label reader.
Three clicks, then you are done
- 1
Add to Chrome
Open the Chrome Web Store listing and hit Add to Chrome. That is the whole download.
- 2
Confirm Add extension
Chrome asks if you are sure. You are. Click Add extension and it installs itself.
- 3
Reload YouTube
Refresh any open YouTube tabs. The popup dot goes mint when protection is on.
Live on the Chrome Web Store. One click, Chrome handles the install, and it is still free. A zip of the source remains available for developers who like doing things the hard way.
Later, if you opt in
You can choose to share your list of video IDs and channel IDs of hidden videos within the community, which improves everyone's experience by using the community-verified list of AI Slop Channels and videos, which automatically syncs with your blocked list.
That is it. No title. No thumbnail. No watch history. No personal tracking. Off until you flip the switch in the pop-up.

The 90% rule
A channel is marked predominantly slop when at least 90% of reported videos on it carry the official AI disclosure. Below that, it stays unflagged.
Off until you say so
Automatically submit now exists in the extension popup. Make an account there, flip the switch, and only the video ID and channel ID of hidden videos get sent. It stays off until you turn it on.
Who is clearing the most slop
Top 10 by unique labeled videos hidden and submitted. Display names only. No emails, ever.
