YouTube already stamps some uploads Made with AI, How this was made, or Sounds or visuals were altered or fully generated. That stamp lives on the watch page. It almost never shows on a Home card. This page is about hiding those cards, not guessing what looks like AI.
Where the stamp actually is
YouTube's own Help Center tells creators to disclose altered or synthetic content. Viewers see that disclosure on the watch page, often as How this was made. Home, Search, and Related cards usually do not show it. So you can keep clicking labeled slop without knowing it was labeled.
What the extension does
AI Slop Blocker is a free Chrome extension. It reads that official disclosure and hides the matching card on desktop youtube.com Home, Search, and the related rail. If YouTube did not put the label on the video, the card stays. No thumbnail guessing. No this-looks-like-AI model.
A labeled card can sit visible for a moment the first time you see it. The extension checks the watch page in the background with your existing YouTube session, caches the answer locally for 7 days, then hides the card.
That is the install. Chrome will ask you to Add extension.
