VS DEALTER
AI Slop Blocker vs DeAlter
Two Chrome extensions that hide YouTube cards when YouTube already marked them altered or AI-generated. The difference is the rest of the product around that signal.
What DeAlter does
DeAlter hides videos marked as altered or AI-generated from your YouTube feed. It is lightweight, private, and needs no setup. Same idea as reading YouTube's own stamp rather than guessing from thumbnails.
What we do
AI Slop Blocker also reads only YouTube's official disclosure (Made with AI, How this was made, or Sounds or visuals were altered or fully generated). On a watch page, a mint SLOP button next to dislike blocks that video and channel locally and returns you Home. The toolbar popup has a Protection toggle and a review table for hidden channels. Optional shared-list submissions send only a YouTube video ID and a channel ID. No watch history. No selling data.
Who each is for
- DeAlter: you want a tiny, no-setup hide for labeled AI cards.
- AI Slop Blocker: you want official-label hiding plus a one-click SLOP block, Protection toggle, and local review list.
What we will not claim
- We do not hide unlabeled AI.
- We do not touch the Shorts shelf or mobile.
- Desktop www.youtube.com only.
