VS CLARITY
AI Slop Blocker vs Clarity
Both try to clean AI off YouTube Home. Clarity leans on detection signals and community. We only hide cards YouTube already stamped.
What Clarity does
Clarity detects and blocks suspected AI videos on YouTube Home, Shorts, and recommendations. It has a one-click toggle, a daily blocked counter, and an optional shared blocklist when people label AI channels. Filtering may miss or over-hide because it relies on signals and community input.
What we do
AI Slop Blocker reads only YouTube's official disclosure. If YouTube did not stamp the video Made with AI, How this was made, or Sounds or visuals were altered or fully generated, the card stays. No thumbnail guessing. No this-sounds-like-AI model.
Optional shared-list submissions send only a YouTube video ID and a channel ID. No watch history. No selling data.
Who each is for
- Clarity: you want broader suspected-AI hiding, including Shorts, and are fine with imperfect detection.
- AI Slop Blocker: you only want YouTube's own stamp gone from Home, Search, and Related.
What we will not claim
- We do not hide unlabeled AI.
- We do not touch the Shorts shelf or mobile.
- Desktop www.youtube.com only.
